What part of the US are you in? Looks like you don’t have many neighbors. That is our goal. To get out of the suburbs and into our own little home with some space. It is very loud where we are and so disruptive to my own peace of mind.

I'm in south Louisiana. I think there are 5 other houses on my street. We were very blessed to find this house in 2020. Took us 9 months of searching to get it. We absolutely love it here. I do think peace and quiet is good for your sanity... especially when you're dealing with health issues.

It sounds like it was meant to be! We would like to move but the economy is so bad with interest rates so high. We are in Pittsburgh, Pa and all my family lives here but I feel like in my heart that this isn’t where I am supposed to be. I want to be by water and woods and not here ghetto music blasting in trucks all night! Simple things really. I love West Virginia and Delaware and wish both sets of parents could come with us but they are older and here to stay I think.
