Hauling material is a tough job, and those who were born to build have the work ethic to get it done. Experience a day in the life of Jeff Buckner, a material hauler at Ozinga.

Hauling Concrete was one of the best jobs I've ever had. It's so rewarding looking at all the things you helped build.

Dump trucking, weather asphalt, excavating, hauling to a concrete or asphalt plant,,it's probably the easiest job in trucking Did it for 1/2 my 43 yr career. I liked it but it does get a little boring, But at least now a days you have a radio & a/c, back when I started we didn't,, had to mickey mouse your own radio setup, Nice trucks,, that's 1/2 the battle.

I’m in CDL school now working on getting my class A. This is what I’m interested in doing once out. Can a newbie land a gig like this or will I have to get experience elsewhere first? Ty for the video!!

Well this company is located where I live ( Chicago, IL ) and they get about 1000 applications per season for the driver/operator job openings. Most likely your have to go over the road for a few years first. It all depend where you live.

A lot of construction places will hire newbies to drive dump trucks. Just have to look around
