Another very informative video learned a multitude of things like the lifters real name, and The flywheels real name if it's either automatic or manual, and a lot more and doing right by customers by taking accountability of an error, My grandpa used to own a shop he is retired now And he said that man knows what he's talking about. This brings me back to them days of being in the shop with him thank you Alex The Car Doctor , nostalgia, and a quick tip I think you all should start hashtagging your videos to help branch out to more audiences.

hey man, what are your thoughts on the older chrysler 300c with the 5.7 hemi.., are they reliable.. I am thinking of buying a diablo tuner to disable the MDS system. do the 06 hemis get the "lifter tick" or did that come later? thanks

always give customers options if you can,, inform them of the consequences.. let them choose, but document everything..

when things go wrong, it very easy to take the easy road, and just tell the customer the problem just hasppened to happen while u had the car, but people who do this never get ahead in life,.,. believe this, God will bless you tenfold for your honesty. God despises a liar and a thief.. also, most liars are also thieves, because the lie sets up the theft.

Your flexplate with the teeth eaten away, is also a Nissan problem, I did not see where the mount bolts were located on the other side of the flexplate to prove my point, the mount bolds that hold it to the torque converter hold the flexplate firm and this is where the starter digs into the teeth, where the bolts are not located, the plate actually flexes and does not dig into the teeth. So, along with a new flexplate, you also need to shim the start out the same depth of the eaten teeth depth or a good percentage of that distance to prevent this problem from coming back, although way in the future.
