@mbenzsl20007 жыл бұрын
Marine CORPS. Lol. A DI will beat your ass for spelling it like that, just fyi. I was told that DNR and MSP training is close to that of USMC boot. Obviously with some differences...It is a live in academy but you go home every weekend.
@MeineEhreheisstTreu17 жыл бұрын
Jacob Dunn Bro police academy is a breeze for a lot of prior service guys. As long as you're in physical shape and ready to learn it'll be easy.
@spencerstraka52307 жыл бұрын
Logan Klaeren not MSP recruit school. Many marines I've talked to said it's just as hard if not harder than boot camp because of the swimming and academic portion.
@MeineEhreheisstTreu17 жыл бұрын
Spencer Straka But compared to your average recruit, vets will have an advantage with drill/ceremony, attention to detail, firearms training, as well as physical standards. That way you'll be able to focus more on the academics than stress over the other details. It's not easy by any means, but it's a huge advantage.

When are they going to talk about the cop who tasered a kid on a 4 wheeler and the kid fell off and was killed. Cost to taxpayers, 12 million.
@rumplestiltskin73044 жыл бұрын
@BoomerLemon What the hell: different topic?? The topic is police brutality and you sound like a cop. Whatever they do in that recruit school, it obviously doesn't include addressing brutality and overt racism. Police forces around the country seem to purposely, specifically and intentionally hire idiots who can't read or refuse to read the U.S. constitution.

In a way, yes, lol. It's more strenuous and you train for your life. A friend of mine was a boy scout for years who then became an Eagle Scout. He then joined the Marines. Following that, he became a Mich state cop. It's pretty interesting to read up on how many famous and driven people got their start in Boy Scouts.
@johnathonholbrook40412 жыл бұрын
@@axelfoley1406 cool story bro. I dropped out of high school 2 years early to join a military academy to graduate in 6 months. Joined the army as an infantryman, and earned my CIB in 2011. But to be a cop you have to be below a certain intelligence level, they don't want people that think for themselves. Now I work for a industrial company making more in 6 months then a cop does in 2 years.
