@@Smartt2.0 The place I'm working is for the Korean government itself, so basically, you need first to have a degree (at least Master degree or 1 year experience work in South Korea) the biggest issue for the job is to get a working visa, except if you are already working and living in South Korea... because many company does't provide visa sponsoring. To work as a micro-biologist in Korea, for the Korean government, you have 2 options : one is to pass the exam for Korean civil servant, but I'm not sure you can pass it if you are a foreigner, other option is to sign a contract with the government itself, and they will hire you and sponsor your visa. but you should speak really good Korean because the application process, resume, interview, everything is 100% in Korean.

Right now there is no job in Korea. Visa is really difficult to find. I recommend to wait and apply maybe later... in 1 or 2 years once corona is finish...

@@sanjidasarmin4404 most school will look for your overall grade, i think you should be in the 20% best student in your school (average grade should be like 80/100 for the year... if you look at scholarship requirement every school are different... it takes usually about 1 year to prepare all the document before applying so don't worry

It's like any job, it really depend of your company, if you work for the government as a civil servant, the minimum salary is around 1,900,000won/month but then, depending your grade, degrees, the city you live in, etc... it can all change. Some people in Seoul may get 4,000,000+++/months I'm sure.

If you haven't study a master or phd degree in korea, your chance are really low. The competition is pretty big and your biggest problem will be getting a visa. Check with your consulate/ambassy what type of visa you can pply if you wanna come to korea. Then depending your research you may contact lab here and get a job opportunity

Hello. I think if you realise your master degree in Korea and work in engineering/micro-biology. And speaks the language. You definetly have an easier chance to work and have a visa when graduating from a korean university. You should check for Korean scholarship... i think graduate global korean scholarship application will start next month. Otherwhile, my friend who work in a lab in seoul faced a lot of discrimination and racism... it's not easy and sometime you can meet really bad people... so be sure to check the school or lab before to apply anywhere. Korea still hire engineer who graduate from Master or PHD but it's not easy to find a job... good luck with your studies/job search

I'm actually not working in Micro-biology, I'm working in tourism promotion. |My salary is about 24k (USD) a year. Micro-biologist, if working for private company can earn WAYYY more, I would say around 50k USD and more/ year. but if you are working for Korean government lab, your salary will be low
