I'm glad you took your friend's advice, overcame the fear of sounding like an infomercial, and encouraged ME with the fact that I can follow my heart & speak to the youth AND make a living at it. I never really liked the idea of speaking mainly to adults in a corporate setting. You have been an agent of change to help me change my life. Thank you.

Great tips: I like when you say it is not for the money, but for the purpose of doing it. As in living your passion, not for the money. So true, so real!

I’m ready to become a motivational speaker to spread awareness about people with facial/ physical abnormalities and what they go through, as well as my own story about my own condition. I want to show that you don’t have to be perfect , people may look different but at the end of the day, every person is equal. Being unique is a good thing bc it makes you who you are . If everyone was the same it would be boring. Beauty comes within etc.. I am so passionate about doing this, like it just feels right and like it’s what I’m meant to do. i feel so excited every time I think about doing something like this. I’m not going to lie at the moment my speaking skills aren’t that good but I’m hoping that with practice and as I get a bit older (I’m only 18) I can improve them and become more confident. I’d love to start a youtube channel and then from there start doing motivational speaking. This has inspired me even more 😂

I'm old now (older anyway!) and based on my personal experiences (early abuse, pain, triumph, success, failure, life); always wanted to write a book to share & help others~when I was 17 to help/share with teens at the time then, 20, 21, again at 26, 32, 33, 38 and so on because continuously, I Insisted on taking the least traveled road. Each time, I talked myself out of it as I thought so many others likely had similar experiences so, what makes me special and why would anyone be interested in my story (ies)? So many do the same...what makes my experiences unique and how will they be helpful or stack against all the well known self-help and motivational authors/speakers? You're truly an inspiration. Motivational speaking is much less daunting to me than writing a book and seems an 'easier' place to start (than a book!)...if you know how! Thanks for this and your other videos~they're great. 👍

Thank you for sharing your message. I too have feared that my message was not good enough or that no one would want to hear my story. I did not see anything spectacular about how I lived my life but others did. It finally hit me that we simply inspire by being ourselves. We inspire people by telling our story and that is powerful. Let me know if I can help you at all. Not trying to sell anything but I love helping people tell their story.

Hey Josh just did the "Extra Credit" watching this video. I am so inspired. I know I have a powerful story and I have committed to becoming a speaker starting 6 months ago. I have written my first e-book and have a website. (out of respect for your site I will not link drop on here but I am easy to find online). Thank you the last part where you talk about the pain that leads to the solution really hit home for me. I am really glad I came across you and I look forward to learning more from you in the near future. Helping people gain access to their success, Sean Wyman

You're currently my biggest inspiration. I know one day I will be able to use dance as my entertainment sector in motivational speaking. I'm so ready, excited, focused & you're like my online mentor.. And you don't even know it haha. Thank you for all that you've helped me with so far.

.. your comment that it comes your greatest gift comes from a place of pain - couldnt be more TRUE... i started my journey because i lost my greatest friend to DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.. a victim myself.. i would have never spoken out about it if she hadn't been taken from me... but now.. i realize im not alone!!!... THANK YOU for stating the TRUTH...

Benjamin Olatunji's Olatunji's God's gift is in his mouth. He has his mouth filled with God's power and glory. He is an impromptu, humorous and motivational speaker. His calling is to speak the right word in season to those that are weary. He will always tell you: "Don't give up." Don't let anything cast your head down." "Stop that evil move to commit suicide"; "Use Your gift." Etc. He is also the Founder & CEO "Courageous Youths Initiative, founded in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States in April 2019 but registered in Nigeria. CYI's mission is to instill courage in the hopeless youths in Africa and other Africans everywhere in the world, beginning from Nigeria. CYI has two branches so far, One in Nigeria and one in Sierra Leone. The mission to liberate African youths from despondency, frustrations, low esteem, and other socioeconomic vices has started already.
