As a real estate agent you’re 9/10 times a independent contractor. You are your own boss meaning you control your schedule. If you put in 4 hours of work you could do it. But it just comes at a cost of production, especially as a new agent you need to stay busy prospecting in order to get clients. The other option you can do is join a team.

So when you're prospecting/cold calling, are you pretty much just calling FSBOS/expireds? I'm new to the industry and I feel like I've called all the FSBOS/expireds in the area and got nothing😅

Hey Nicolo! Yes, for now, I am calling new and old FSBOs and also old and new Expireds. I ran out of "active" FSBOs in my area so I had to go back to last year FSBOs through Vulcan7 data. 😅 But, I have been trying to implement Personal Circle calls as well and in the future I will start "farming" a specific area through cold calling as well. 🙏stay persistent all the NOs means you are getting closer to a YESS 💯

Hi Jeszica, great question! If I sell a new construction home I would be considered a buyers agent. Because a lot of these builders have their own in-house sales reps who are also Realtors. So we get paid as the buyers agent. Sometimes, builders will also offer bonuses and rewards for us realtors if we close multiple deals with them. I have not worked a new construction deal just yet, but from what I know this is how it works 👍

I personally loveeeee it! There's so much you can do with it! My dad is in the real estate industry as well so he encouraged me to give it a try. Plus, my old boss was a real estate broker so I learned a lot from her and got experience like that too. Real estate is not hard. I think I read somewhere that "real estate is simple but is not easy". As long as you have a game plan and you work hard and don't give up you can be very successful in this business. It's also so important to have the right expectations because this is not Selling Sunset or Million Dollar Listing 😂there is so much more to it to be able to get to that point. The test itself I found easy, but I studied like it was my full-time job + overtime because it was back in quarantine 😂so yes if you study it is very straightforward. 👍I hope this answers your questions 🙏🏼

Hello! I am theeee worstt at mathhhh 😂 I have had a couple of embarrassing moments especially working with investors lol Real estate does involve math but is nothing crazy nowadays you can just pull your calculator or an app if anything... if I can do it and make it work anyone can lol as far as the exam goes, there are a couple of math questions but as long as you know and memorize the formulas and do practice questions ... you will be just fine ... a tip for the exam is that as soon as they gave me permission to write on the blank sheet I jot down all the math formulas I knew I was going to forget. When I got the math questions it was a lot easier for me because of that. Hope this helps! Good luck! 💗

To be honest with you, is not just the job that gives me anxiety. There's a lot going on in my personal life as well. Also, is very stressful because I am one person running 2 businesses (Real Estate & Media Business). No assistant, no editor, no social media management company, no buyers agents. It is a loooot of work 😅it gets even more busy when I have a couple of active and pending deals haha but I can't complain about that. lol There's more to this but for now I hope that answers your question. 🙏
