My truck did that twice before too. You just have to turn the kill switch off for about 10min or so and restart it!

Have you experienced this situation before with the Penske truck? Also, was there any other warning light behind the low air pressure? Freightliners are notorious for having a few common issues with them. Most common one is CPC or Impaired powertrain function. - Basically, when you turn the key you have zero power. Nothing works, the air doesn't build pressure, key doesn't swing the gauges, truck won't turn on. Also if it rains a lot, it can mess up the sensor. Another common reason the truck isn't turning on can be as simple as the key it's self. The key has to make contact when it enters the shaft. Sometimes turning the key upside down, will make it have enough "contact" to get the truck to start. More than likely the mechanic would have to simply replace the starter it's self. Which is less than 30 minute job. Also as another commenter suggested you can kill the main battery, on the main freightliner next to the driver seat (floor left side) should be the on/off switch. Sometimes shutting it off for a few minutes, then switching it back on. Will "reboot" the system so to speak and you should be good to go. At least until you got it back and got it serviced. Somethings you can't control, but I applaud how you always handle your situations. Cool and collective. Keep up the good work out there and safe travels!

Thank you bro I appreciate the time you took to inform me of that 🙏🏾 I will definitely use this information in the future. And I have experience this before and like u said I turn the key in my last job. But for some reason this one wasn't working. And some of the things u said I tried and it didn't move a inch lol

@@twt7186 I totally understand, sometimes you can beat the truck to death and it still won't work. Haha. Personally, I've always had a bad experience with a freightliner. Mainly with the key not starting, or CPC (which is basically the brain of the unit). Never had an issue with a Pro-star international (yet, I probably should knock on wood) haha. Anyhow, keep up the good work none the less. Trucking is what you make of it in the end. Keep up the good vibes and spirit and safe travels!

Hey, I’ve been following for a minute. I’ve currently with NFI out of PA. What are your thoughts on Penske with the Aldi account? Do you have a set schedule?
@twt71864 ай бұрын
Appreciate you bro thank you for your support 🙏🏾 , and yes it is a consistent schedule. It has its downs tho although it's a consistent schedule. With NFI you know what ur making its a base pay. Penske is all over the place. I'll be making video on them. But where I'm at it's not worth it for experience drivers.
