Great to see someone taking brakes as a normal part of the day. Once I enter lab, I put so much pressure on myself to keep working that I don’t always take time for lunch. Still getting used to this PhD thing.

Thank you!! Honestly breaks are so important, I don’t do it as often as I should, but like you said the pressure gets to you. Sometimes I think if I don’t take breaks I will leave early, but it never works out that way sadly!!

How much stipend do you get as a PhD? Also, how's the life?

In terms of stipend between 17k - 20k / year in the UK and life is pretty independent free and flexible
