See that comment is part of the misconception about going to culinary school. You don’t come out as a chef, you’re just a cook… I would recommend quitting culinary school and working as a dishwasher, learning prep and everything for free from a good restaurant. Don’t waste your money like I did

@@benrusso7338 i did one year in culinary school at a community college for a certificate, last year i dropped out and decided to go with my original plan go work in a kitchen and work my way up. at least i don't owe any money to the college.

almost all prep jobs are going to be different- heck my job is different every day - focus and listen carefully, clean as you go, communicate clearly, have a sense of urgency, keep your hands moving, pace yourself on longer shifts - you will do great best of luck :)

The vast majority of the video took place out side of the kitchen….. the only prep we saw was you slicing a single ham in half and taking a couple cucumbers to a mandolin. Thumbs down from me
