First, let me premise this comment to say, in no way is this an attack on this good kid. Now a few observations. I, personally, find that lifestyle devoid of any feeling or life. Get up, shower, go to shuttle, work in a warehouse, then go home. The worst part were the massive lines of displays and cafeteria tables to work at. The only thing I experienced in this video that had any life to it, was the upbeat music. The only time I saw this kid smile, was at the end of the video. Maybe he was really relieved to be leaving the dungeons at Meta? I sincerely hope that this nice kid experiences a life outside of what we see here. I’m sure he makes a good living here, but one day, anything he’s doing, will be replaced by a robot/software, probably written by AI. To me, working at a place like that, is about as repulsive a thing that I can imagine. Just think of the music was changed to something less upbeat, I probably wouldn’t have got through the entire video. Again, I mean this as no offense to the author of this video. I’m sure he’s a nice guy.

@@leonnoirsr whats interesting is some companies are still making plans to build more huge office buildings. They think they can fight the trend. Almost half of the workforce don't want to go back to office now especially with current car market and gas price. Nothing is enough to justify 4 hours waste of time on commute everyday.

hello wish u a great day! i'm about to choose my engineering course and i'm still unsure about information tech related courses. just afraid of it's lifestyle as they say working as a programmer makes it hard to socialize, ruin your body, and a lot of stress and working for a lot of extra hours.. is that really true?? and thanks

You work for 40yrs to have $1M in your retirement, meanwhile some people are putting just $10K in a meme coin from just few months ago and now they are multimillionaires.

I saw the news that Zukerberg wants to fire the underperform employees, many ppl are saying he may included employees who have ‘extra’ time to create YT channels. Too much extra time = too much free time at work. Did you feel any pressure internally yet?

Sure would be nice if you didn't have to drive to the shuttle and there was some kind of efficient method of transportation that could get you there. Also, for a job at a social media company you do sure seem to spend a lot of time alone.

colleague, I am sorry to see this. I been in that working situation and I am glad it's in the past. It's horrible, fells like want to kill myself if that happens again to me. Wish you good luck escaping from there and find better place. Sorry but I wont tell you where I am because everyone will rush to come here and this will make pressure on the job marker. All the best, colleague

So, you recorded yourself doing 4.5 hours of actual work. It took longer to edit and render this video than an actual day of your work... It took you the same amount of time to commute to work to then proceed to bike the campus and then take 4 breaks. Idk, if this video is satire or not but come on man, really...
