My man ive watched a few “day in the life of a SE” to help me keep going on my journey. Ive got to say, this is the utmost first “day in the life” video that feels so warm, so genuine, so human. When others do these, its usually either flashy or those that “try” to make their life seem like it’s completely ordinary but its not. I hope its not being read in bad way: i mean that this video truly captured what it means to be human: humble, dedicated , and funny. I f’ing love it man. I understand why this might seem boring to some people in contrast to other things like finance or mechanical engineering, unlike those careers, we can't really fully appreciate what SWEs do because it's behind a screen. The interesting part (at least for me) is the problem solving/creating a software engineer does, and that's hard to convey on a Day In The Life video.
