Wow, this is exactly my life, except I'm not in Japan and leaving home at night means you might come back without a wallet. Being able to do what I do (DevOps) but in Japan would be interesting, I already work until late night anyway and taxes are sky high...

Hi Mate! halfway through the video I realized that I saw you somewhere else and later after a couple of minutes I remembered a channel about life in Australia. Nice to see you in Japan! Thanks for the content, Mate! Big Hi from Florida!

Love your new video. The warm table (Kotatsu) always make me so lazy , so I have to avoid it if there are any important thing on my todo list.

@@alex_remotely if you can talk a little about your journey maybe towards the end of your video or something, that would be great to hear! Looking forward to your high quality content, subbed.

This is awesome. Curious if I can ask, did you persuade your Aus company to let you work internationally? Or were you hired as such? My company is having none of me leaving Aus lol

Thank you! The company has a Japanese entity so it was more of the former :)

Wait, around 5pm you had been watching a show and the tune is so familiar to me. Can you tell me what it was? Ah god I am unable to recall. Nice video btw.

Hey man, how's going? Let me ask you something, I am a developer who actually lives in Brazil and works for a company in Canada as a contractor, full remote. Probbaly same like you, and I'm planning to move to Japan, could you perhaps give some hints about how that's even possible? like in terms of Visa and legal eligibility for doing that actually. Thank you!!

Hey! I live in Brazil too and I'm currently studying CS, I'd love to move back to Japan while working remotely to some NA company (I was born in Japan but I'm son of Brazilians, so my nationality is brazilian), and I'm trying to figure out that Visa situation as well. Hope Alex can help us in some way!!!

@@seltonfurukawa8878 We are on the same boat then, mate. ˆˆ let me know if you find out something. I am still trying to figure out things here. one option is to be hired into a company that has a Japanese branch or to be hired by a Japanese company, but Im not sure if they do remote anywhere to be honest. and also i don't want to change jobs only because of that. so yeah, tricky.

What did you think of the Logitech keyboard?
@alex_remotely
@alex_remotely Жыл бұрын
Love it. Wish there was an alternative set of keycaps though; also would prefer for the fn button on the left to be in the corner just like on the Magic Keyboard, otherwise great.
