What stands out most about her is her ability to confront challenges with unwavering resolve. Instead of allowing setbacks to define her, she uses them as opportunities for growth and self-discovery. Her resilience in the face of adversity serves as a reminder that no obstacle is insurmountable with the right mindset and determination. Moreover, she possesses a rare gift for lifting others up. Whether through her words of encouragement, acts of kindness, or simply by being a beacon of positivity, she has a profound impact on those around her. Her generosity knows no bounds, and she is always ready to extend a helping hand to those in need. Yet, what truly inspires me about her is her authenticity. She remains true to herself and her values, unswayed by external pressures or expectations. Her genuine nature serves as a guiding light, encouraging others to embrace their uniqueness and live authentically - the Norwegian singer Sigrid. I guess this girl is doing great in this video! What is it - legal apprenticeships? I mean, we've all been there, grinding, pushing past 9 to 5, or not yet?

She is an employee with a solicitor firm but is still a law student in her final year. As lawyers charge hourly rates up to $500 per hour ; they retain junior professional staff and still charge the client 250 per hour as essentially Clerks. That is an apprentice to a trade . When they get their law degree they often are given further employment in the firm. Civil Litigation is a fancy term for suing people; often insurance companies or other legal entities for: " damages. " These damages are often termed their Plaintiff Compensation. Might be big car accident; slip / fall at work; medical negligent doctor ; public Liability etc etc The girl is very bright ; articultate and hard working lass. They all are -- its a job that requires a lot of effort working to prove yourself and asset to the company. It's all about making billable hours and clocking up time to charge the large fees / and disbursements. They expect you to do a lot of hours.

@@michaelburr8780 It might have been yesterday that there was a guidance for legal aid, where every lawyer would need to work about 50 hours for a court in Bristol or other areas. However, what we are looking to suggest is that perhaps it would make more sense later. Having a business where the person in this video won’t exchange time for money or work towards exchanging things like knowledge would be the best option going forward-not time for money, but knowledge!

My dad is an employment lawyer in central London, so this is incredibly interesting to see. You’re very passionate about your career which is amazing because if you’re not passionate about it, it’s very hard to thrive and persevere. Without a doubt you’ll be very successful and go very far, you go the extra mile and do way more than what’s expected. All the best to you and good luck! You’re absolutely smashing it. If only more people took their careers seriously like you, this world would be a much better place.

Hello Thomas, thank you very much for the wonderful words! Very kind of you. Fully agreed re being passionate. I’m glad you found it interesting, I did think that perhaps those already with an insight into law may find it intriguing to know more about being a solicitor apprentice and the workload. I do hope to get to the city one day!

I love this format of video)) many others show predictable things how it is amazing to be lawyer, how it is difficult etc.. and not specific details what is exactly lawyers have to do behind their desk)) For me as an experienced lawyer in another legal system of codified law this is very very interesting to observe the real everyday legal process)) Thank you, you inspire me a lot))

Hi! Could you please explain the different types of solicitor? I’m considering an apprenticeship in this career but how does it branch out into different sectors. For example solicitors that deal with victims of crime vs employment solicitors. Could you just explain a bit more about that and the different options available please?

Are you generally free on the weekends? I’m considering doing a solicitor apprenticeship but I’m worried I won’t have a work life balance
@roxx81823 жыл бұрын
I know some law firms such as High Street law firms only work from 9-5 or 9-6 ensuring they provide a good work life balance for their employees. I've finished my law degree and hoping to become a solicitor soon but I want a good work life balance and that's what I'm going to look for when searching where to work x
