My Journey to a Legal Apprenticeship | My Legal Career

I am a third year Level 7 Solicitor Apprentice but I am four years into my apprenticeship journey with an international law firm. I go to university every Monday and work full-time in the team’s Civil Litigation and Commercial Dispute Resolution team Tuesday - Friday. I am due to qualify in 2024.
I want to share my non-traditional legal journey to qualification and give aspiring lawyers an insight into my life as a solicitor apprentice.

What kind of grades did you get? Do I need straight a's for this being an option for me?

Not necessarily, it depends on the law firm - many Level 3/4 paralegal apprenticeships require a minimum of CCC such as Addleshaw Goddard, Kennedy’s, DWF, BCLP etc. However if you’re doing a Level 7 solicitor apprenticeship from the start (which is 6 years), the entry requirement tend to be higher such as BBB or ABB e.g Eversheds Sutherland.
