What kind of bitter apocalypse am I witnessing here? Poor people, poor country, poor car... The engine is living out its last days, the left mirror is like a consumable, the interior is dead, the windshield is hanging on by a stick, acrid smoke from burning oil pours into the interior. Money for travel, like candy wrappers, carelessly flies into the door niche, because it is worth nothing. The streets are dirty and disorderly. But maybe, despite this, all people are happy? This looks like a hell on Earth. If i were there i would probably escape to the savannah in search of the tribal bushmen so i can live with them instead. Really, chasing gazelles with a spear and a bare butt seems like a better life to losing braincells in the pollution of 100s of old cars for money that can't even pay to fix the car. Either way, i am thankful for this rare insight into the daily lives of ordinary Congolese people and i acknowledge the sacrifice of the drivers who are keeping the people fed, literally bringing the food to the markets. Keep up the good work, i am loving the content. Love from Bulgaria 🇧🇬🇧🇬

@@nts_nathaniel Few things here: it looked like each fare was 1000CDF ($0.35) and there were about 6-7 passengers in that car (Say $2ish). Only a couple of KMs travelled so $0.70 fuel cost. = $1.35 gross profit.
