Loving this content. Honest and transparent. Going through every video now, and tempted to try myself. Wondering if you know anything about the brand 'Selected Homme'? I saw a nice coat in good condition for £5 yesterday, not sure if that would be worth a punt....? Thanks

Hi , thank you for the information, I’ve been selling for about a year part time and I’ve learnt a lot from this . Especially about the jeans . I always stay away from superdry and crew clothing but will start to look at them closer . Can you recommend any good bulk sellers you trust as mine has recently quit selling.

Good afternoon, Thank you for the video, enjoyed seeing your processes. How long did it take you, listing consistently every day, before you were experiencing daily sales, enough to maintain a decent monthly wage. Question from a part-time eBay clothing reseller with aspirations to become full time in 1-2 years. Thank you.

Hi thank you so much for taking the time to watch my video, glad to hear you enjoyed it. In regards to daily sales, I was in full time employment until about 18 months ago. I was listing 10 items a day and after about a year I was selling 8-10 daily. My one bit of advice would be don’t rush into going full time, I still to this day have a part time job I work at the weekend, this pays the mortgage so takes a little bit of pressure off EBay. Hope that makes sense. Hope you have a great week Kind regards Simon

Hi I am new to your channel and found it to be quite informative. You certainly have an eye for finding good quality items. Can I ask where you get your clear bags from for storing items as I am a crafter and they would be very useful. Have a good week
@thegentlemanmarketeer11 ай бұрын
I get my bags from eBay, I buy 1000 at a time and cost £32. I hope this helps and thank you for watching. Regards Simon Clear Polythene Poly Bags All Sizes Crafts, Food Safe - Cheapest For All Sizes. Polypackuk is the company I get them from 👍

Hi Simon thanks for the videos. Where do you get your inventory storage boxes please?
@thegentlemanmarketeer11 ай бұрын
Hi thanks for watching it is appreciated. I am a big believer of the saying Low cost no cost !!! So I get my boxes free of charge from the supermarket Lidl, they are Tortilla boxes, they sell loads and always have empty ones. I just asked an employee if I could have them. Hope that helps Simon

Hi Simon another great video what’s your normal mark up 30% minimum or?
@thegentlemanmarketeer11 ай бұрын
Hi, thank you for taking the time to watch, I would say a 30% margin is where I aim for (I would love to get higher) Thanks again Simon

Which bags do you use? I usually tape over them cause I don’t trust the seals, do yours get lost much?
@thegentlemanmarketeer11 ай бұрын
Hi, thanks for the message, I use ones from EBay, don’t normally have any issues, don’t worry about tape. Don’t have many go missing less than 1 a month and I send out about 500 a month. Thanks for watching Simon

How can I contact you with a business proposal?
@thegentlemanmarketeer11 ай бұрын
Hi thank you for watching and taking the time to send a message, I have been reselling for around 3 and a half years, when I first started I was in full time employment and done Ebay as a side hustle, I sold anything and everything but after a while I joined a mentor group and was advised to niche into 1 category. I was listing 10 a day 7 days a week for about 6 months, I saw good sales so quit the day job and the rest is history. I still work 5 days on eBay and 2 days in a retail shop just to not rely 100% on eBay . Wow that was a long reply hope it made sense Regards Simon

Hi, how far do you normally travel from home for sourcing?
@thegentlemanmarketeer11 ай бұрын
Hi, Thanks for the message and taking the time to watch, I do travel quite a distance on average maybe 50-60 miles, I usually go to 4-5 towns with 5-8 shops in each, hope this helps. Kind Regards Simon

Do you wash, steam or iron any of the items? Thanks
@thegentlemanmarketeer11 ай бұрын
Hi, thank you for the message, I wash the majority of my clothing then flat lay and stack them so I don't need to iron. I hope that is helpful. Simon
@LivingALife4Me11 ай бұрын
Yes that helps. Know the new items will not be washed due to the tags. I used to do well selling on Ebay years ago but the market changed and Ebay itself changed so didn't work for what I sold at the time. Well put together video. Thanks@@thegentlemanmarketeer
