Well, things are dirty, because most of the time in a poor area it’s dirty for some reason I was poor once, but I have the cleanest yard and the cleanest house on this dilapidated road. I used to live on where the houses were crappy, but you went to the very end, and I had a little trailer that they lived in, but everything was spotless.

@@Vincity1183 You are right, however, the dynamics are a little different. In the poorer areas or areas with a revolving population in the uk, people leave the cleaning to the council, which, we pay for through our taxes.Taxes in the uk is 40% of your earnings. In the richer areas, the people will often clean up bits of rubbish because they do not want the value of their homes to reduce. In the video it is cumunal living, so coming together to clean is ok.

This is where i have an issue. People always showing one side to a whole country or continent (especially Africa!) I'm proudly Ugandan and we're beautiful people, quite hospitable e.t.c. Many of us are highly educated and living large actually... contrary to what most folk think. I've seen some places abroad worse off than what's called "ghetto" here. We're very blessed, but sometimes the leadership won't do enough to advance the nation i.e. Congo. My father's family and most of my paternal relatives plus myself, siblings and my cousins were born grew up in Kibuli. That street food isnt prepared the day before but that morning. Also, as soon as most kids are out of university and start working, these are the most affordable accomodations due to their income. In fact, even university students live in such places which are very many and affordable around many big universities. They are dangerous at through the night so dont be fooled that its only 3 or 4 am. From as early as 11 until 6 am you can be mugged or your house broken into. Even during day. So don't move carelessly. Anyways, thanks for show casing my home town. I love that place. Those saying its dirty or blah blah, immune systems adjust to condtions. We never struggled with infections like kids from gated communities, we grew up playing with dust and walking in those dirty trenches. Only diseases were flu or cough and of course malaria because the mosquitoes are many and typhoid but not the infections that can't be explained in hospital these days. Anyways, thank you 😊

@@Antoniodagreat false. The narrator is just a sad incel just like you mad at every woman because he’s been rejected. This type of attitude will keep you lonely.

Good mini documentary. However, your music choice was extremely poor for the context of the video. It would've been more proper to play some local music in Uganda. Just a thought!
