I don't usually comment on videos, but I feel like I'd be somewhat unjust to not show you my appreciation for this gem of a vlog. I like how frank you are - keeping things short and engaging. It was nice finding out about what you learn (margin call, etc). I feel like this video is a better representation of university life than some of the "typical day at harvard" videos out there. Thanks...really!

Great posting. As a member of the University of Michigan class of 1976, I was happy to see the modernizations contrasted with many of the old buildings from my days on central campus.

For graduate school too. The Ford School was the only place where I applied. My dad encouraged me to apply to places like Wisconsin as "safety" schools, but for me if I hadn't gotten into Michigan, I wasn't going to get my master's at all.

I go to University of Michigan: Dearborn and even though you go to the main campus, our day-to-day lives aren't that different. Congrats on getting into AA for Ross School of Business btw! Go Blue

I'm going there next fall. One thing I'm curious on is how far are the buildings usually away from each other. Basically how much time it takes to travel.

It all depends on which classes you choose. Most of my classes are about 15-20 minutes walking distance from my dorm and within 10 minutes of each other. If you have any classes on north and you live near central campus, you'll need to take the bus. Some people also use bikes and that makes the travel time much shorter

I live on central campus and it takes me 5-8 minutes to walk to all my classes. All the buildings are pretty near to each other once you are on central campus.

@@thibaudroy4775 Yah call them as soon as you can. In terms of transferring, cross-campus is super easy. For Ross you will only be allowed to apply once (if you are denied you cannot try again later) and should have some ECs to show that you are actually interested in business

I think having morning classes is the most efficient use of your time. When I was a GSI at UM and we had to discuss our teaching schedule preferences, I always asked for the 8:30am classes so that I could get them out of the way. There was nothing more disruptive than the semester when the only options were evening discussion classes, especially since I had my own papers to write and tests to study for.
