Hi lad, thank you for this video. I am aspiring to become a scribe. Please can you share whether keyboarding skills are enough in taking the notes dictated by the doctor or do we need to learn shorthand skills to take notes before and then type out later. Key board skills, listening skills and knowledge in medical terminology are equally important tbh! During the visit you can take short hand notes then convert into a detailed note by taking not more than 5 minutes once the visit complete. But eventually you will get used to make notes directly without taking any short notes. All the best 😇

If we use ffs, we can replay upto 4 minutes! But during the visit we won’t get enough time to replay them tbh. No worries 😉 you will get used to it quickly!

Hi Rashi, i am from Kerala. Ofc location is Coimbatore. I took almost 3 months to complete the audits including typing. I am still working from home due to some personal reasons. They are not allowing WFH at this now.

Your typing speed, English writing, and verbal communication skills also play a major role. If you are an experienced candidate, they will assess your knowledge of the EHR system and all. This is the basic thing; it may vary for each recruiter.

If you are from a medical or para medical background you can enter into companies directly as trainee. Otherwise you should earn medical scribe certificate after completing medical scribing course! ☺️

Hi Sachin, There are a lot of companies providing medical scribe jobs for pharmacy graduates. They will train for 3-5 months, then you can go in production. I would suggest you search in Linkdin to check the vacancies. Since you are from medical background, you don't have to go for a scribing course. :)
