I recently bought a black light flashlight to check for uranium glass. My husband had so much fun looking at stuff to see if it glowed. Decided to give as Xmas presents to teenage boys in our family.

Hi Amanda. I've been watching your channel for a while now and really enjoy it. I've been selling online for over 20 years but recently made the decision to get a booth at a place called the Mineral Mercantile as some things just seem to sell better in person. I too live in Virginia (central) so your posts are really helpful in showing what sells in our area and I also like seeing how your booth is set up. I've been to mall where your space is a couple of times (years ago) and it is indeed HUGE! Next time, I'm in the area I'll look for it. I'd love to see it in person. 👍👍 if your light is 365 and not just black light it will detect a lot more glowy glass😊 and cadmium even just clear glass that has URANIUM will glow with the 365 tfs

My parents had oil heating in Massachusetts. If possible and I bet it may be free by your county assistance, have them install an outside spout for oil refills. Actually a hole in your foundation. Good luck

What it means to be an antique dealer or a day in the life of an antique dealer. That's a multi million dollar question. After being in the business for about 30 years. I've been in just about every aspect of the antique business from private collector,shop owner, auctioneer,booth rental. I think the words antique store are said very loosely today. Crafts, clothing,modern decorative items in my opinion don't belong in antique stores. I think a more fitting name for the factory antique mall and others in the same category would be vendor malls.
