Even in the wild sea otters will look to humans for help when in a bind . Not their first choice . But their choice nonetheless. They know and sense how much we love them and how cute we think they are lol

I am so in love with these guys!!! Sea otters and their "land"? counterparts! They are SO ADORABLE and resourceful and full of life! I have seen many people on youtube who have them as pets. I know that's not encouraged-but it looked like they were living the highlife. Had their own pools to swim in and houses to destroy. Lol. I would SO love to be able to come and just be near them for awhile. Don't know that I will ever be able to but I would like to find a way to help. Can you give me a little more info on that? Thankyou and keep up the amazing loving work you do with ALL the animals. Ps. Do you have giraffes at a zoo there too?

By land you mean River Otter right? While i don't think it's legal to domesticate the sea otter, The river otter can be but they are very smelly(for marking territory) and since they're the same species as weasels and wolverines they're very aggressive. Though even in the wild the Sea Otter are quite friendly and more curious towards human than the River Otter. So your chance of interact and/or take care of them is working the same job as the girl in the video. -Joey
