In the United States, there are probably more e-scooters at the bottom of lakes and rivers than in service. I hope you have better luck in Europe. The US builds everything for cars with humans as an afterthought, so there is contempt for them in the few safe pedestrian spaces.

4:00 Ftr, Section 163 Road Traffic Act 1988 requires drivers to stop for Police when directed to do so, & Police do NOT need a reason; they generally Will have one but it can literally be just to check your documentation with no other cause!

I was an avid watcher of you on tv when you were a police pursuit driver. I did used to be on the wrong side of the law, regarding car theft,(many many years ago which I am absolutely now disgusted at)but I have watched a few programmes you have been involved in since leaving the force and now just found you have a KZbin channel and I find what you are now doing very inspirational. And yes the Police do a great job and yes I know it's a very hard and challenging job also and those that do it must be proud to do the job and wear the uniform. It's not for me though the Ambulance service is where my heart belongs and is the job I want to do and would be proud to say I do and proud to wear the uniform so fingers crossed in the new year that will be the job I'll be doing and got an interview coming up for that so wish me luck everyone. Good to see, I'm an Essex girl (Romford) and know that part of London very well indeed, my disabled brother did and still does love all things London, and when we were kids we were always visiting St. Pauls and other landmarks. I remember once climbing what seemed like thousands of steps right up to the base of the cross at the very top, the view was amazing, but I was too knackered to appreciate it, even at 12 years old (I was never very fit..!) 🤣

Hi BEN how about you do a video on how My LOCAL Police, Fire & Ambulance did on the Manchester TORNADO & how they dealt with the major incident, I spoke to a few Police Officers and Firemen whilst I went making videos on the damage that it caused, major issue I found was nobody had an idea of how tornados work, I got pulled by 3 separate Police vehicles/ officers trying to stop me walking certain ways, as I said to all involved I walked up filming no one was there to stop me earlier in the night, so they wasn't stopping me going the same route back, do you think all public forces should be taught on these type of situations, as I was telling them things they had no clue about, when it comes to tornados, I've always been into tornados since I was very young, do you think our forces should be taught about these things, as tornados are rare in populated areas in Britain, but we will certainly be getting more in the future.

Tried joining the police. But unfortunately I have some debt and this made me "bribe vulnerable". So sadly my application after passing all the exams and physical tests was rejected. Maybe this will change in future, but now that my dream has been rejected I'm just kinda fumbling blindly through life not really sure what to do with myself.

Thanks for talking out about mental health! It needs more coverage. Was on Blackfriars bridge when the City of London police were setting up a stop check on 6th of November and I was sat in my mobility scooter with my camera out, photographing the buses (as I'm bus mad). Got talking to one of the officers, as I thought that I'd done something wrong, but he was a decent and down to earth guy. Was saying that if I can get about with my physical health, then I try to. Also that I've been bus "spotting" in the likes of Liverpool, Manchester and other places, he was quite interested.

The maximum speed limit for eBikes in London is 15mph. However, please note that there may be lower speed limits in certain areas such as schools and town squares.

Since January 1 2016, the only throttles legal on new bikes are those that provide starting assistance ie. assist the rider without pedalling up to a maximum speed of 3.7 mph. At that speed, the throttle cuts off. If the cyclist pedals at the same time, the throttle can still assist up to the 15.5mph limit.

I am a strong supporter of the police, with the only exception being the Met, who currently have over one thousand officers under suspension and investigation, and several police stations under 'Special Measures.' The Met need to be disbanded as the RUC was, and a new force formed, just as was done in Northern Ireland.
