That's really needed because some go into it thinking I'm tough, nothing can get to me attitude. You certainly did better with the murderer than I could have. I wouldn't want him in the car with me. By the time we got to lockup I'd need to shower and change pants.

when a murderer gets found guilty the judge will give a recommendation of how many years he should serve this is called the lifers rec, then when all the paper work etc is sent off to the home office? (i think they send it to) they issue the murderers actual tariff and they can go higher or lower than what the judge said, the life part refers to being on license for the rest of your life (having to go see a probation officer etc) the average tariff is about 14 years, meaning serve 14 years then start applying for parole
