Love your videos. Watched your what ski to pick. Question. I'm running 15 off 30 mph. I'm 6 feet tall 180 lbs. I'm using a radar strada which is a good ski, but u feel the mid body too wide along with tail. Where I ski it is always rough water barely ever calm. What ski would you recommend?

The Radar Strada Is a 34 to 36 mph ski... so unless you can work up to those speeds, your ski is kind of overkill. For a rough lake you need something more flexible than a strada which is a very stiff ski... as are all high-end slalom skis. I would look for something in the intermediate level that isn't quite as stiff or try to get out early morning where you can get some calm water and try to increase your speed up to 34 mph. You will find it requires less work to do more at a higher speed... and that strada will perform a lot better. Another thing you will find, the faster you go, the flatter your boat wake will be. I'm 65 and use an older HO System 8, which I absolutely love, behind my Malibu Response LXI. The System 8 is a little narrower than most skis and maybe just a little tougher to get up on, although it is not a problem for me. I have the benefit of a usually calm lake and generally free ski between 34 and 36 mph at 22 off. If I can do it at my age, you can certainly do it.

I called radar. They said the same. I just bought a senate lithium. I felt like that was good choice. An alloy would be better for rough water, but I thought this was a good middle. Wish me luck!

Our LXI is awful at 22 off. The wake is bad. I don't know if it's the wakeboard plate drags a bit, but even other friends say its awful on this boat. Thanks
