Dam that's beautiful slick as glass I started skiing when I was 5yrs old at Lake Waccamaw growing up behind a Correct Craft boat the best years of my life.

Nice! Takes me back to the old days. Thank you for sharing this video.

Man, where does this happen? The sun is up fairly high, yet the water is still glass and there are no other boats. By 9 am at my lake it's like a game of dodge ball, especially heinous with all the surf barges out there.

Hola, que marca y modelo de sky son? Serviría para alguien de 185cm y 90kg? Me puedes recomendar algún modelo para esas medidas? Gracias!

Why do you hold the rope like that? Just wondering. Im new to water skiing, is there a benefit or something?
@tilastaco14404 жыл бұрын
Not really it just depends on what you find comfortable 😊
@Alexa-xe3yl3 жыл бұрын
there is a diffrence if you hold the the rope like that it releases the pressure of the rope from your forearm and spreades it across your whole arm, therefore you can keep going for a longer period of time, it also makes the water cut a little bit easier if you want to go with one arm

I have a question. All of the wakeboard yahoos, have touted how much wakeboarding is more physical than skiing. Legit question here. Don't want to step on anyone's toes. Has anyone ever run a ski course, on a wakeboard??? I don't want to speak out of turn, but I seriously dought it. Please enlighten me.

While getting up on the one ski, do you get sprayed by water in the face?
@samryan77304 жыл бұрын
Roblox Rules depends on your size and your technique. The bigger and heavier you are the more spray you will make but if you use your whole body to get yourself out of the water you will make less spray than if you just use your arms.

What he said plus different skis spray different

Yes, I actually shut my eyes for a few seconds as I wear contacts, but with the right ski and boat, you pop out pretty quick.

Do you start with both legs in or do you drag your one leg behind
@gavinburkett58294 жыл бұрын
You start with both legs in and squatted down some people get up with 2 skis and throw one off once they are up
@chi-townconcerts34854 жыл бұрын
Gavin Burkett interesting, I just learned to get up with one foot in, and letting the other foot drag behind until I’m out of the water
@shawnreems4934 жыл бұрын
@@chi-townconcerts3485 I did that when i started to learn how to ski the transition is pretty simple. All about squatting and then just standing up. Bigger guys usually need to learn on a tower until they figure it out
@ianpapke8044 жыл бұрын
@@chi-townconcerts3485 Just personal preference, I start with both in, my dad and mom both drag one.
@bridomine992 жыл бұрын
In the past most learned dragging a foot, but with today's boats (more power) and higher performance skis, most prefer double booted skis to both in.

I have seen pictures of the slalom course that used to be on our lake, and I remember the one that I skied on a different lake and try to make a mental course.
@k_m_z_4 жыл бұрын
Technically no, he is riding a single ski in open water. You can ride a slalom course on anything, a "slalom ski" is what enginerds decided is the best shape to make it through but wakeboards and combo skis both score points on a slalom course. Without a course you're just turning, and I'd argue to some, it can be much more fun 😉
