Wow totally different. I spend my childhood surrounded by Mexican boxers and they had like 3 jobs (trash collectors, bakers, handyman, robbers) and on the top of that boxers. I’m glad that this guy seems to have a good life which let him focus on boxing.

I remember saying that at 15 and when I got to live that life Fr I thought it wasn’t for me those long nights of training in the cold those early morning waking up at 6:00 to go run all those lbs I had to lose to make weight I felt like I was t happy anymore but as long as you don’t lose motivation your straight 💪

awesome, i just started back up i stopped but am 30 now. best decision, im working my ass off and this is my passion i made a mistake not training steadily when i was a kid but i have faith in myself idc about age. ill make this something i can survive off of one day, even if it ends up being a coach of future champions. and shit ill definitely take fights as an amatuer. i love fighting. i'd be happy even to make a free meal for winning a fight. i love doing it, being around it and cant see myself doing anything else while being happy.

However one day I’m planning to move out as early as possible and start a career while doing some side job to maintain myself. Typically a lot of boxers only do body weight exercises to avoid putting on too much muscle mass because it will tire them out more quickly. Also more mass could take them up in weight class so if they want to stay in a certain weight class they would refrain from it. Some do weight training but never too heavy and kinda for muscular endurance/explosive kind of training.
