Oh my gosh, Steph is an amazing teacher! She took the time to ensure small groups of children were speaking and repeating. In this way, she could ensure that no child was missing out on a learning opportunity. Her annunciation was awesome! Many teachers do not take the time to pronounce words clearly, which is very important.

Should be having students answer “it’s a pencil” but was good besides that. Important not to let them fall into only using one word answers

I just realized that in 2017 when I was visiting there I actually walked by that building multiple times. Every time I watch the different videos things about that area looks familiar to me but until you actually walked in front of the market I didn't realize where it was.

It's nice to see you create contents like this. This is such an inspiration for me to come up with more interesting contents to share how teaching life is like here in Vietnam. I wouldn't be able to film my classes due to our Company's policy but hopefully I can come up with similar content.

In Google map, search for the name of the school: "ngoia ngu super minds". It is a village! But there are lots of bigger towns on the northern Mekong. So far I've stayed in My Tho, Vinh Long, Sa Dec (flower nurseries), and Cao Lanh which I liked the best.

The energy in Steph's classes were awesome from what I saw. There was probably no way to save the mural from the old location. It was beautiful. Hopefully you guys will find another great location with an amazing view. Later I definitely will sign up for the in-class course as it would be very helpful. Awesome content as usual, never expect less from Ninja Teacher. Best of luck to you all.

Hello, sir! I need help if you can answer me in person or someone here watching this video and has experience teaching English in VN. I am from Algeria and I have been teaching English for 9 years. I have just started the procedure to move to Vietnam with Up2u agency whose manager is gonna look for a job contract for me. I wanna know which city is better to teach there? A countryside or a big city ?! How is the life there comparing to teachers' salary ?! Is everything affordable ?! PS: I wanna move with my 2 years old daughter . Thanks in advance for your answer.❤💜

I legit thought about applying to teach English in Vietnam but it's so scary because I am a native Vietnamese speaker but I haven't spoken Vietnamese conversationally for over a decade. I was afraid I lost it and didn't want to embarrass myself. I genuinely appreciate the work you're doing! Keep it up!

No foreign English teachers can speak Vietnamese. Students will love that you are from overseas, their idea of dream life. Also Vietnamese and Thai are not at all judgmental like you are used to in the West.

You will be fine as long as you avoid the "small" schools that only want white foreigners. I'm Vietnamese and taught back in 2019 in Saigon. I met a Vietnamese girl from the States and she taught just fine. We didn't use Vietnamese in the school at all and honestly, it didn't matter if you know the language or not. As long as you can teach and the kids connect with you, you're good.

Why do they not call it a farmer’s market instead of “Wet”?
@formica.
@formica. 3 жыл бұрын
Traditional markets have different sections. The wet market is literally wet - picture fish in tubs, shellfish, raw meat hanging, butchers, water everywhere. The dry section will have packaged food, spices, coffee, housewares. Usually a sit down to eat, or take out prepared meal area too. And big motorbike parking zone.

@@dongnguyen558 Hey it is a good quiz for you, not hard! Ok: US, Canada, UK, Ireland, So Africa, Australia, New Zealand. That list is from the English Centers, private schools, that they put in advertisements. It is about accents. Parents assume teachers from those schools are the best so the English centers prefer them. However, in real life, there are lots of European, Russian, and Philippines teachers in Vietnam too.
