Today in the shop 7/11/2024 I show you a gorgeous 2 stall engine house Howard Zane designed for me personally to be part of my upcoming O scale layout. Dear Howard and Al, beautiful design, great build, awesome details. Just wondering on the skylights for the engine shed; because the ‘attic’ of the shed has been fitted with a floor, are you considering to make any openings into both the roof structure and the attic floor to allow some diffuse light into the shed? Or, to let light from inside the shed bleed out? Cheerio

Great observation, but what seems like an attic floor is only a structural necessity for the model. Rest assured that the nice little O scale engine house workers will have plenty of daylight and then some!
