I have purchased around a dozen of those terracotta wine coolers from second hand stores. I have all my snake plants in them. I have had them planted in there for 5 years now and the terracotta pot holds up very well, I have had no issues with them crumbling. I have also used a diamond bit to drill drainage holes. And still the pot holds up very well

So I’m noting the ridges in the terracotta wine chiller and am reminded of the ads I keep seeing for that Terra cotta self watering planter you can attach living moss, orchids, and other plants to on the outside of, then fill up in center. Now I want to order this wine chiller to try it out for some of my small orchids!

A tip I’ve seen for watering moss poles is to put a plastic cup with small holes in the bottom at the top of the pole and it will drip the water through to the moss. I haven’t done it but I’ve seen a few people use this method. I’ve also seen empty water bottles be use with a hole in the cap and you just set it upside down at the top.

The new pot for the money tree looks way nicer with the ridges design. When you hydrate the coco coir & break it apart...do you need to let it dry out completely after to store it? I don't know if you ever use anything to cover holes in pots for drainage...but I use small pieces of broken pots. That one you shattered could've been a good one for that.

Yes for the hair and for the chaos! 😂 Have you tried doing the upside down bottle for the moss poles? I feel like it's less of a chore that way than spraying them. I personally use coco chunks on my poles as I find that they tend to hold moisture better. When the outside looks dry and you tear up the coco chunk, the inside is still moist.

Tip: always wet charcoal and perlite before pouring it :) prevents you from breathing the dust. Especially perlite dust is dangerous.

I definitely agree with a lot of orchid barks being way too big. I like to get the fir bark for reptile habitats at petco. It works so well and is also a lot more cost effective for the big bags. Speaking of which, I need to go get more today as well as coco coir. I have so many plants to repot.

Big fan of the fact that in the same week we got the exact same haircut. I tried so hard to find reference photos of my relatively straight blunt cut and the only "short hair blunt cut" photos on Pinterest had curtainesque bangs. Guess it was just a universal calling. Great minds think alike. Mine may be a tad shorter than yours because my hair usually grows 7-9 inches a year and wild hair is horrendously overstimulating. I chop that crap until I almost resemble coconut head so I don't have to cut it soon after.

I’m glad you use the brand Bliss for you coco coir and chips because they are double rinsed and charged unlike any other brand and if this is not done plants cannot uptake nutrients. Also thanks for the link for the large perlite in large quantity. I have looked forever for this. I also found the small orchard bark which I use. Btw I use yogart lids as coasters for all my plants lol

I had a Sony DVD/Netflix player. I hated that thing with a bitter heart. When I was done with it, i took it outside, and ran it over in the driveway 7 or 8 times. It was sooooo therapeutic 😂 When you broke that pot, I Felt It ! 😂 That was Awesome Ma'am! lol Edit: Are those GVM lights pretty good? I need to upgrade to LED. I still have the bulbed studio lights, but wont upgrade to Godox etc where they cost a kidney and sliver of your liver! 😁
