Fun video Steve. Never seen goshawk but the call does remind me of osprey although not as loud or as high pitch. Num Num Num, always good when nature provides the snack

haha - I too could gorge myself on huckleberries. I wish we had them in Colorado. booo . At least we get some huckleberry ice cream down here. Looking forward to 2nd part Steve. Thanks for sharing!

To this day when I hear the word huckleberries, I think back about picking a bunch around the campground that wound up in a pie that the adults ate and the child laborers didn’t even get a taste. Should have done what you did and eaten ‘em on the spot...

So far not too bad. The fires are far enough away to not be too bad. But it is definitely noticeable.
