You must stay a bus length away for your safety and theirs...bring binoculars and a camera with a telephoto lense

Your videos of the ponies are so awesome. I haven't seen any others that capture their simple beauty like you do. What kind of camera and lens setup are you using? They make you feel like you are RIGHT THERE with them. Thank you for sharing!

Hello, sorry for the way late reply, I shoot with a Olympus OM-D E-m1, it is a awesome DSLR, I shot most of the video clips here with my telephoto lens. 40-150mm which on a full frame camera wound be 80-300mm

Del Higgins I agree. Most videos are of the poor horses surrounded by people. It's noisy, crowded and confusing for them as some are being fed and others are being pushed around for being in the human's way. It's nice to know there are areas of the beach where they can just be horses without interference. Beautiful video.

Misty of Chincoteague...award winning book and Disney movie, my cousin and a few of his ponies were in the Movie, as the stand-in for the bareback scenes.

They eat mostly grasses. Some times campers food they leave out.
