A Day on LAKE COMO, Italy - Varenna & Menaggio ( 4K )

My father's uncles came from Varenna. My maiden name was Vrenna as they dropped the "a" at Elis Island. Many times we were given the name of the town we came from. My father's uncles insisted this was the "American" version of our name and would not change it. This is what they gave us,so be it. It is so nice to know where my roots are and it gives me great pride in being able to connect to a land where my for father's people came from. It is so beautiful,,,one might say Heaven on Earth. My next trip to Italy would have been the lake regions and Cinqa Terra. Unfortunately, I am unable to travel,yet these videos take me there . Thank you very much.

I haven”t been to a place in Italy that is not beautiful. I am sure lake Maggiore is also beautiful and maybe next year I will go there:)
