Sailing Croatia saved my life, I was suicidal, had lost all hope. Travelling around showed me life is about sunsets, nice wine, good food, sex, love and travel. Never stress the small stuff, there is a huge world and different ways of life to discover ❤️

Me too. Have been down there quite a few times and did the island tours and always think I might do one of these, but didn't think I'd like a sail boat trip...too small. I go arond them and the crew allow me to look around the boats in the harbour in Split, on my motrning jog...but now, am going as soon as the world opens up again!

I did the same cruise last year - I was 20 at the time and I wasn’t sure it’d be much fun because the navigator was aimed more at my age but it was still incredible! I didn’t want to be on a ‘booze cruise’ so I chose the explorer and it was honestly the best decision! This is such a great review ☺️ I just wanted to add in that they went above and beyond to cater to any food intolerances on our cruise too - in case anyone is wondering about that it’s amazing 😄 and I think all of the guides/cruise leaders are really into history coz I had someone different but he knew SO much about everywhere we went too ! 💖

I have been on a booze cruise before, in the Baltic. It's was mostly brits. And yours truly. My only excuse it that I had not realized what I was in for. The irony is, I am not a heavy drinker, one glass of wine a day is my limit, and I don't drink beer or hard liquor.

I loved watching your video series on the Sail Croatia trip! I was actually looking into do the same trip with them a few months ago (maybe we would have been on the same boat ;)) but they were super standoffish when I was looking into information about the food onboard. I'm gluten free and wanted to know specifics about the menu and ultimately decided not to do the trip because I had visions of me having to desperately haul food onboard at each stop lol From your video I can see that I would have survived just fine and probably would have gained a few pounds ha. Glad you guys enjoyed the trip!!

Ahh you honestly would have been fine! Next time you should definitely take it, they were really considerate of people onboard with their food. Look for the other comment by Ella Kane on this video :)

There was only one dinner onboard, so not really an option. But the choices on land were pretty flexible!

Would you recommend this cruise for a single 30 year old guy? I like the idea of it being more relaxed than the navigator one but worry it might be a little too much of a couples and older crowd.

I really like these presentational vlogs - I think this one makes great sense as a summary of how the routine worked on the ship. I've never done a boat cruise so I wouldn't have known the routine - but now I do! Such a good gesture to put in the disclaimer but actually, you guys were so obviously stoked throughout the cruise, that it is self evident just how much you enjoyed yourselves. I've enjoyed these cruise vlogs immensely and can totally see the attraction. Now looking forward to your next adventure!

I've enjoyed your Sail Croatia videos immensely! I've been seriously considering going on one for some time now. Iwant to plan one for September 2020! I 'll be 67yo but really young at heart and I think The explorer cruise is the one I'd prefer. The elegance cruise looks great but I'm not interested in frills and really prefer to be with a younger group. Based on your review I think the explorer cruise wold be ideal. It seems i would be able to go on tours etc at my own pace pretty much. I'd really appreciate your input re if i would fit in and just have a great vacation. thanks

Hey David - There was a real mix on the Explorer, we did see the Elegance cruise and its definitely a crowd all 60+ from what we saw. We think if you're young at heart and prefer that vibe then the Explorer would be perfect for you.

Thanks for such a great review of your cruise!!! It certainly looked fabulous and a perfect alternative to the younger peoples' cruises. One thing that deterred us from going on a Croatian cruise was the age of the people on it and the bad reputation of the food on many cruises, but the food on yours looked fantastic. One question: The weather looked perfect and not so many people in some places you visited, which month was this? Early or late September?

This was late Sept, which was perfect. Probably early or mid Sept would be the safer option. We 100000% recommend the trip, take a look at Explorer or Elegance and the food is exceptional, restaurant quality lunches every single day!

Inspired by you I'm taking a cruise trip in Indian Ocean Islands in 3 weeks time & will have something to compare to. Thx for this. So two hours is not very long to explore a town. Are there no coach tours of anywhere or does one have to walk everywhere, I have a difficulty with that. Also I don’t swim, so there does not seem to be much to do for me, onboard.

It varies at each port you stop at, some are only a few hours, others are overnight so you can get off and explore all arvo, take a bus somewhere, go for dinner etc. Onboard though you’re right it won’t be as enjoyable for you but still would be fun.
