Hey how do you find the stocks you trade for the day. I heard something about the biggest gap with the lowest float?

Hi Jesse, Those two components, a low float and gapping price, are definitely part of it. “Outstanding shares” = restricted stock (insiders, company employees) + floating shares (the public/you & I) We trade the float of a stock, therefore, it makes sense that a lower float simply means a lower supply. And since a stock’s price movement is based on supply & demand, the lower the supply, then possibly the higher the demand (hence a price increase). There are other factors which will intertwine with that concept & contribute to it, such as the need for a strong fundamental and/or technical catalyst etc. Overall, all this adds up to whether or not the stock will become one of the leading gainers for that morning/day. Note, higher float stocks can also be in the leading gainers/bigger gap list.

Hi Ezio, I manually type in the order, however, webull has this cool function that allows us to automatically place a 'stop loss' order as well as a 'take profit' order simultaneous to the entry order. It us under the 'classic trade widget' and you can adjust the percentage of your stop loss & take profit, accordingly, respectively.
