A Day To Forget On The Farm

My name is Crawford and I’m a farmer.
Being a farmer is more than a job; it’s a way of life. The good days can involve bringing new life onto the farm or sunny days outdoors whilst on others it's dealing with machinery breakdowns and on the worst days, sometimes animal deaths.
Farming can be isolating at times - away from the busy streets and city life - so this platform brings you closer to the inner workings showing the highs and lows and everything in between.
I hope to bring some context to how the food ends up on your plate, from your Sunday roasts to morning porridge and even the tulips on your kitchen table. Hopefully a bit of agricultural education along the way.
This video captures the latest goings on including crop management and our efforts to increase sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint.

I have been thinking about your welder problems. Remove the intire welding lead from the welder there is a big plastic nut, it just unscrews, there is a liner that the wire feeds through, undo the liner with small spanner and the liner will pull out of the lead. Try blowing it through with high pressure airline, it gets clogged with dust and stuff off the wire. If that doesen't work you will to replace the liner, they are readily available. The liners are a comsumable part of the welder. I doubt there is anything wrong with the wire feed motor or wire feeder.

I feel your pain Crawford! To think back in the 60s when I started, GPS was not a thing, then as we progressed its became a major part of farm technology that is difficult to do without, so when it stops working and then you manage to get it going again, its like you have just won the lottery lol. Yup we all have days like your one, although sitting here relaxing I have to say, not my problem anymore 🙂 Thanks for another great video

Crawford with reference to welder feed wheel have you tried another welding gun in it might be a fault on it not giving signal back from trigger to welder. Or bad connections on plug into welder
