I remember an interview where Jeremy said that he wanted ADTR to have a wide variety of songs and styles, so no matter what mood you're in, you can listen to them. I feel that. Great, catchy song here.
@jeffbrownstain3 жыл бұрын
The only emotion he portrays with most of this album is 'boredom' so I guess he's trying to nail every category. For like, 15 years the only emotions he offered in his music was 'break shit' and 'be sad about a girl while on the road being famous' so it's about time they started to diversify.
@matthewturbin9693 жыл бұрын
@@jeffbrownstain I’m not sure if you’re speaking in exaggeration but if you actually feel this way you’re wrong. Ultimately the two comments you made on past styles are simply reflective of Mr Highway’s Thinking About the End and If It Means A Lot To You. Even within the same album, Homesick, you can find different messages. My Life For Hire tells a story of seeking control in your own life, and ultimately breaking out from someone else’s attempt at controlling your actions and keeping you quiet. Then if you look at big songs from other albums, you can see other cool themes- Right Back at It Again tells a story of ignoring the doubts of others and being glad that you did your own thing, Justified tells a story of others rushing to conclusions, The Plot to Bomb The Panhandle tells a story about finally breaking a toxic cycle and leaving an ex in the past instead of being lured back in and getting hurt again. Even other songs in Youre Welcome- for instance, Bloodsucker tells a relatable tale of someone who feels the need to constantly suck all your positivity out.

That happened with All Time Low on their last album before this new one which was actually good. A Day To Remember said they’re supposedly going to have the heaviest song they’ve ever written on this album but I won’t believe it until I hear it. The three songs they put out so far for this thing I really haven’t liked because they’re just so monotonous and hollow. People have argued “oh well they’ve been putting out soft songs for 15 years”, I responded to them saying listen to End Of Me, Forgive And Forget, Have Faith In Me, It’s Complicated etc ALL of those songs are great. This on the other hand is bullshit generic pop and you’re tone deaf if you can’t hear the difference

Fine, think what you want about that. For me it's not a joke, it's a fact. I get it, your a weeb. At least you listen to rock music, that's a cool thing.
@ssjgyoshi92854 жыл бұрын
@@germanbadass95 Actually, to me, it's all cartoons. Anime is just Japanese cartoons. And, just putting it out there, there's nothing wrong with being a "weeb". Sounds like you have some personal issues with "weebs".

@@SnackJar It's obviously heavier than "If it means alot to you" or "I'm already gone". I like how they can go from heavy riffs and screaming to a slower song but this one's a good blend.
