@@kylejarmolych That's sorta my issue a bit. I do like older Chevelle, but they seem to suffer from the same problem Breaking Benjamin does. All the songs sound like they could've come off of any one of their other albums. That's fine to an extent, but after ~20 years, I'd hope to see _some_ degree of songwriting progression, some experimenting within the style. It doesn't need to be as drastic as say, BMTH's writing over the years, but it's certainly possible to stick too closely to ones roots, and that's coming from someone who can't seem to break out of her own songwriting cage hahah.
