Heavy Falling In Reverse vibes from the melodies and the catchy chorus which then turns into the sick breakdown. What a killer song!
@habijjj2 жыл бұрын
I mean they essentially did what falling in reverse did they did 1 album that was different from what they normally do because they wanted to. Then all of the songs afterwards went back to being heavy as shit. People need to learn that sometimes an artist will do something different and its ok to not like the album. What isn't ok is being an asshole about it like people hated that album with a passion.

I feel like it's always the same formula over and over again: Enter the song with a heavy banging riff, then the chill verse that climaxes in the chorus, repeat, build-up for breakdown, breakdown, final chorus, maybe short reprise of heavy riff. I don't have a problem with this in general, since it's just the standard ABABCB formula of music adopted for metal, but it's so frustrating that after entering the song in heavy mode they all decide to cool it down. What about just keeping the energy up?! Chill parts are great to catch your breath again after slaying it to the first half of the song, but their function as counterpart making heavy parts even more heavy loses effectivness as soon as they're used too often in a song. Those bands are giving me such a hard time by doing so.

@@tokiwartooth8542 Totally makes sense, that's what I'm talking about. If the melody line of the chorus and the heaviness of the breakdown are the only things worth wondering while listening to a song, it's just not enough.
