Between Terry and the Pethericks they keep him quite busy. What Paddy does is truly a art form.

That was very interesting.👍 I didn't realize that Château de la Basmaignée is only an hour away from Château de Lalacelle. No wonder he gets so much business from Châtelains. ❤ from TX!

Master Craftsman Paddy the Carpenter. Not many of these people around. I hope his knowledge gets passed down to some lucky young apprentices in the future. I guess they’d probably have to fork out for all the machinery, tools, etc. to set themselves up, but it’s oh so worth it. I’ve seen his work at Ash and Terry’s Chateau and also at Billy Petherick’s Convent. So so interesting thank you for this video

Enjoyed this. My daddy was a wood worker and I sure enjoyed the “feel” of the shop and could even smell the sawdust from my memories of Pop. Thank you for the smiles!

Thank you Tanya. A trip down memory lane for me, I can smell that workshop. My Father was a master carpenter and Joiner. My job as a child was pushing the bits through when he was making motrice and tenon joints. I had to use a screwdriver, until the day I thought I would help him a bit more and use the chisel. Still have the scar and mercifully the finger. Happy days. He would have loved the tools nowadays. ❤❤👌👏👏

Love the addition of the drains and weep holes to the door frame and door, as well as the opening window on the door! Would Paddy use the softer heartwood and sap wood for projects not requiring the hardwood resistant to the elements like an exterior door would need? Edit: P. S. Love your stars and stripes, Tanya!

Thank you for the tour. A master craftsman for certain. 3 weeks labour or more plus materials must be quite 6 it's worth it if you have financial means. Do you know where he learned his trade, did he apprentice with someone, or is he self-taught?
