Robert seems like a great guy who did great things for our country serving all that time and still continues to help people everyday trying his hardest getting that mail delivered. That’s a man you can respect

Very tough job. Mentally as well. Most people can't make it in the postal service, especially as a city carrier. 10-12 miles a day, up and down stairs, in any weather condition imaginable carrying heavy mail.

Relate bro, i'm working in a postal service since june of 2020, it's a very tough job mentally and phisically, i make at least 12 miles a day. When the rains come war begins
@@Tyler-ev3gk 17.29 starting out, currently, as a CCA. I haven't made less than $2500 pretax so far per check. You will work a lot. I get 1 day off every 14 days or so. 10-12 hours a day. It's not for everyone.

@punk3rz My goodness, only $17.29 an hour as a City Carrier? Are you a PTF, PSE? You guys deserves more money than that.

It sucks that even in that suburban neighborhood they don’t have curbside mailboxes so the mailman can just drive up and drop off the mail instead of having to walk up to each house
@EricJh216902 жыл бұрын
In a perfect world lol...it's weird around here some areas have a mix of both, some are only box on post, and others only mounted on the house.
@jdeandre2 жыл бұрын
@@EricJh21690 I have a route like that. It’s about 700 stops. About 475 are mounted on the house and the rest are post mounted on the curb. The lady that had the route before me retired off of it. She was 62 years old and had the route for 11 years.

I love (sarcastically speaking) how at 1:59, the truck fires up then dies, and the mail carrier has to re-start it. It just epitomizes the overall tenacity letter carriers must endure daily, let alone dogs and/or upset customers.
