I am definitely like your cousin, I film short videos of my favourite songs/parts but mostly I just like being present and actually experiencing it. Also, I can hear my horrible singing in the background of every video and if I sing along to the song while filming, it makes it impossible to rewatch the video later :D so i'd rather film less, but enjoy the performance fully.
