Ultimamente stavo per prendere un jx08, appena ho visto questa bomba stavo pensando, secondo te abbinato ad un controller esterno come la keylab è adeguato per suonarlo live come piano o synth? Il sustain funziona? E sai se c’è qualche limite di polifonia? Comunque grande frate ❤️

Grazie mille innanzitutto, secondo me il move non e molto adatto in live, non supporta pitch bend e pedale per ora (ma spero vivamente che lo faccia in futuro) e non ha tante funzioni di sync e midi che invece trovi in altri dispositivi. Per la polifonia mi pare sia 8 per drift ma non ne sono sicuro, sto cercando di bypassare quel limite creando delle mie patch su Ableton con 16 per vedere se funziona nei prossimi giorni. Secondo me ti potrebbe fruttare di piu un ipad o un laptop con synth infiniti, o se vuoi per forza un modulo ce ne sono molti migliori del JX, ma dipende molto che musica fai e cosa ti serve!

What hate? It's not a bad device, it's more like a prising issue. 500 for 4 tracks and no midi out jack in 2024 looks like a fanbase milking, yes. But device itself is pretty OK. What i don't get is why a lot of people are so exited about it. It's basically a regular groovebox with OK sounds.

Hey DJKanyon, thanks for the comment! If we're talking about features I'm with you, it looks quite poor with the couple of audio IN-Out. I have tried a lot of grooveboxes (like the Roland for examples) and if you consider it one of those you're going to be disappointed, especially because it's virtually impossible to make a dawless setup with Move. My excitement comes from the fun and quick music making experience, the Ableton Live integration (which is my main DAW from 20 years) and the fact that I can use my sounds with it, not only samples but my own Wavetable and Drift presets from Ableton. Do you use Ableton Live as your main DAW?

@@Madd3e it IS the part of eco system! As much as they say standalone... it's not that standalone after all! And actually i left Ableton recently... after 12 version update it crashes on saving for whatever reason... Software is so unreliable this days! But i still think that when Push 3 will be old and cheap i'm going to buy one just to ditch software
