A Days Ferreting - In The Lake District

Today we head into The Lake District with Paige, Josh and his pup Jess. Rabbits are usually scarce in this area, however this land owner was reporting sightings of large numbers during the day. Thankfully we managed to reduce the population and clear 17 rabbits after a successful days ferreting.

I really enjoyed watching .I miss it so much I used to go ferreting with my father some years ago and had many fine days . I also had a wonderful dog like your black one he knew every word I told him. There were some big rabbits there. Thanks for sharing.

These are the best ferreting videos I have ever seen. This one at least was not raining or snowing. Many years ago I tried ferreting but work got in the way. An old boy I bought a ferret from told me that if the ferret shakes up his fur at the hole entrance, he knows there is rabbits in there for it to hunt. Don't know how true it is, but I see it in your videos. I see this video has a third of a million views so far. That is really good.
