good video, though I need to correct you on 3:56. You learn Septimal Surge as your last skill at level 65, Voltaic Chains are acquired at level 40. When talking about the Voltaic Cheese, it doesn't make things any different, as you still need level 65 to use this strategy, but I still felt like mentioning the correction. Looking forward to your videos of future games, especially GV2

The double-tap refill tutorial wasn't cut from the pure English script, it is there. As you exit the elevator in the first level, you're stopped by a cutscene which explains it.

Nice review. YT's been recommending me this a lot the last few days, finally clicked, was not disappointed. More ASG appreciation is always welcome. Oh btw, Septimal Surge doesn't buff Kudos gain directly - not sure if you know but: Kudos is generated based on damage dealt (1 point of damage gives 1 Kudos point). Since the SS skill doubles your damage dealt, it ends up increasing your Kudos gain as a result since all your damage is doubled. Also you can adjust the in-stage dialogue from the pause menu as well. =D

Recently I picked up disgaea 7 to play since I liked disgaea 4 so much. And so I started watching some grinding tutorials and etc, somehow it recommended me your disgaea 2 guide. I checked out your channel because it's hard to find someone talking about disgaea and oh boy, your videos are a blast. I'm definitely excited to try something new like gunvolt once I'm done with disgaea 7. Keep up the good work, king.

I pretty much agree with most of your sentiments based on the fact that we both like Mega Man and Zero is our favorite series in the franchise That being said I was an early adopter of the game and bought it pretty much day one and can confirm that they DID tell you to press down twice on the D-Pad to recharge your septima in the beginning of the game. I don't understand how people ever had an issue with this

All that messy script on the screen messes up any serious run of a level. It's really distracting when trying to dodge enemies and lasers, especially since the shots aren't easy to see anyway sometimes because they fade. It's a good game, but the HUD is almost a disaster. I end up doing an exposition dump play through on my first run and toggle it off for the challenge runs

Eh, you can kind of see that IC developed more on some ideas that they tried to introduce in those games, namely the score and crafting system. Edit: Oh, and the level system too.
