Well non of these also make me feel uncomfortable, but some of the new animations made by IAs specially the humans represented in there, difficult to find as they are just proofs only temporary on youtube or other places…ca be creepies…and ridiculously funnies. And the robots selected, currently there are some….emmmm…humanoid monsters hope never see again. 😅😂

Oscar Nilsson still does ancient facial reconstruction and he's quite good at it. Also, haven't finished this, but in police sketches, I hope you bring up the night stalker. That scared the piss out of me. One night, I was about to lay on the couch and sleep, had a documentary about Richard Ramirez on, and had just shut the lights out and walked back into the living room and my TV had frozen up or was buffering and it was hung up on his police sketch. Right in the middle of the screen. I jumped and wound up shutting it off. Scared the shit out of me. Oh also look at Joanna Lopez if you haven't. Still creeps me out. I'm a 40 year old woman and I get scared enough to wake my husband up XD

This was a fascinating look at the topic, and I like how serene and soothing your voice and tone are, though I would suggest you pull your mic up closer to you so we can hear your voice a little more. This is a very fascinating topic about how humans tend to dissociate themselves from something so human-like is what elicits an almost primal response to look away. Yhe funny thing is that uncanny valley is used in police sketches to its advantage since amplifying the unique facial features of an unidentified victim can help jog the memories of anyone looking at a police sketch to try and see if they recognize the victim. Selena's picture is super weird but the circumstances around how it's used is weirder still. I know there was another case of that happening with a different girl that had a very uncanny photo and... may not have existed to begin with. Very bizarre.

Ive watched polar express every single year for most of my life and i never got the souless vibes people were talking about😭. Ive never saw it as creepy or uncanny. I had 0 idea people even saw it that way until one year my mom admitted that the way the characters look make her uncomfortable lol. dare i say where the uncanny fails to work is neurodiverse individuals,like for example i have autism and i never felt uncomfortable with the uncanny valley but found alot like ALOT of intrigue with it,cuz i was told alot of how i have such a flat voice when i dont mask or the latter where i have such an animated voice that its literally cartoony- i love the perspective on all ends though cuz i see where people get uncomfy but for some reason im AWARE it looks odd but im not unnerved because in a sense i feel similarly in the sense ive also been called uncanny by others 😭
