@@everymanhasastory thanks goes to you sir. I was not able to make the meet up today at ground zero as I caught a cold that knocked me out! No respiratory symptoms so I don’t think it’s covid, just a cold. I have meds and relaxing in my room. I should have it gone in a few days. Then I hope to see casaroro falls. I’ll try to meet up at the coffee shop with everyone before I leave, I have a while here in Dumaguete still. Really enjoying this peaceful waterfront town.

What is the difference in ocean water temperatures between Hawaii and Seattle? If someone was under a ship I'd say they're about the same and a diver doesn't notice much difference right?
@RetireandGo
@RetireandGo Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your question The west coast of the US is very cold water Hawaii is within the warm Japan Flow And clear blue waters as well It’s good to have experienced both. The suit can help with temperatures , but unless you have a warm water suit on ( constant flow of warm water to you) hypothermia can set in. Cold! Haha But, that’s the job I guess :-)
@topsuperseven7910
@topsuperseven7910 Жыл бұрын
@@RetireandGo Hi, thanks for pretending to know from ole experience but there is very little difference being recorded. They aren't on the shores, they are out in the ocean aka 'blue water'. there, the only difference is surface temperature and according to our internet nerds its around a 4 degree (c) difference. You've chuckled 'Unless you have a warm water suit on..". Well yes of course they have suits on. He's describing Navy Divers (Navy deep-sea divers) who are wearing the full-on diving suits. It would be amazing to learn they could feel the difference between the surface temperatures in the oceans outside Hawaii and outside Seattle but once they were below the water they'd be in almost identical temperatures. They aren't 'skinny dipping' nor is the one in Hawaii wearing some shorts while in Seattle 'unless he's wearing a warm suit..' no he IS wearing a whole pressurized heated suits either place. That's not an 'unless' but the default presumption.
