Finally someone who is saying you can use retinoids on rosacea. You always hear that you shouldn't use retinol or retinoids when you have rosacea. But I have been using a 1 % retinol daily for a year and my skin has never been better, even my rosacea got better. Please don't be scared to try it. It might not be working for your rosacea, but it might as well do, you never know until you try. My tip: Use a retinol that is formulated with a calming ingredient. Licorice root extract works wonders for me (included in high concentration retinol products from Paula's Choice).

Nothing wrong with using an eye cream, but it is not needed. If you enjoy it then great but just know it not necessary. I have had roscesa pretty much all my life. However, once I reached menopause, on my word! It is a struggle, let me tell you. I don't have the redness as much, but my eyes are very irritated now. I have terrible breakouts, and very dry skin. Everything pretty much irritates my skin. Foods, anything I put on my skin especially my eyes. I have to be extremily careful now with everything. Even getting upset about something will cause a huge flareup. So, I feel like I have to be in a bubble with no drama what so ever. Great time to need that, Uh? I have to just let drama roll off me. I have hot flashes which is not good for someone with roscesa and I really don't want to take hrt. Have been looking for natural ways to ease menopause hot flashes. A fan is my best friend now... Think I will look for an aloe gel, mint gel or both to add to my skin. May make my own because like I said, I have to be very careful. Also, try to just eat cooling foods. Just need some relief.

I would live another video with more details on how you treat your rosacea and how to use Retin A with rosacea.
@randiacoronacion67973 жыл бұрын
Start low dosage Tretinoin .025% alternate every other night, or two nights. Until u built your skin tolerance. Your skin will be itchy at first, it means the Retin A is working, it's helping build collagen and stimulate blood vessels. And then help skin exfoliate. Been on Tretinoin .025% for over a year, I have Rosacea and Peri oral dermititis. I'm hesitant to increase dosage to .05% Retin A fear of exacerbating Rosacea. So far with Soolantra prescription cream and Metronidazole .075% gel. The redness of Rosacea is controlled and the pimple like bumps on the side of my mouth and cheeks are controlled. Rosacea is a life time condition, we need a routine to keep it bay. Sad to say it's genetic.
