I just learned that bentonite clay has lead in it! And, that would scientifically make sense because it's volcanic ash. This is concerning, pregnancy or not. Hello, good question; I typically recommend stopping when you are trying to conceive. The theoretical risk is very low but we do err on the side of caution here.

Hello, my thoughts on eye creams are that they're useful if they contain a specific active ingredient targeting a specific concern you have. For ex: caffeine for dark circles or extra hydrating ingredients for dryness. Retinoids and retinol are not safe in pregnancy though, so do not use eye creams with those!

Hello! Good question; I'm going to make a follow up video for breastfeeding safe skincare! The good news is even more things are safe to use while breastfeeding, since the baby is out of your body and no longer sharing the same blood supply as you. You can use both chemical OR mineral sunscreens while breastfeeding. Make sure not to get the sunscreen on the nipple or anywhere the baby is directly eating from.
