Thank you so much for bringing your content to youtube. I recently found out from my oldest brother that he, my older sister and I were supposed to train to be sacerdotes, but my sister and I have lived our entire lives in America, and he in Mexico. So I've been trying to learn as much as I can about the spiritual traditions of my ancestors and i really felt that learning from you(since you seemed very knowledgeable in the matter) was the best choice for my sister and I. I share what I can with her and try to teach her the things I've learned from the descriptions in your work. I really appreciate you and I, also an artist, love your artwork! You happen to be my favorite artist, actually.

I’m from Jalisco and in the town I grew up ancestors would worship a dios con piel dorada. They would give him pulque because they said it was his favorite drink and in return he would bless them with great crops. His name was “Tzopote” which is como la planta zopote a la cual tu isiste mención. There is even 2 towns I know in Jalisco que se llaman Zapote. Xipe Totec is believed to be from Jalisco or Nayarit and then it spread all across.

Thank you for your insight, that was fascinating. Do you know if flayed sacrifices were ever part of Xipe Toltek's worship? Or whether priests would imitate the God by wearing flayed skin themselves? Thanks again.
